Police: Car crashes into I-95 barrier in Fairfield

A car crashed into the I-95 barrier in Fairfield and got stuck in the center lane of traffic early Saturday morning, according to state police.

FAIRFIELD - A car crashed into the I-95 barrier in Fairfield and got stuck in the center lane of traffic early Saturday morning, according to state police.

They say the incident happened around 2 a.m.

Police say the car lost a tire after it hit the barrier.

Officers say the driver was injured but is expected to be OK.
