Police: Dirty dish in sink led to Norwalk shooting

NORWALK - The man accused of shooting his sister's boyfriend last week in Norwalk faced a judge today.

Terry Peterson, 22, is accused of shooting Alberto Torres in the stomach at the Roodner Court Housing Complex last Thursday.

According to court documents, officials say the reason Peterson shot Torres was over a dirty dish in the sink that Peterson believed wasn't his to clean.

Officials say Torres should be released from the hospital within the next day or two.
