Police dog finds man suspected in Bridgeport pizzeria break-in

BRIDGEPORT - Bridgeport officers say a police dog helped them arrest a man who tried to break into Brick Oven Pizza just after midnight this morning.

While the arrest came quickly, one business owner is still on edge because he was robbed about two weeks ago in the same shopping center.

"It's disturbing," says the anonymous business owner.

Detectives say the dog followed a scent back to 19-year-old Ariteigh Bailey, then nudged and jumped on him.

Bailey is scheduled to make his first court appearance next week.
