Police: Driver in fatal crash only had learner's permit

GRISWOLD - Police say the teen who was driving in a crash that killed four teens in Griswold only had a learner's permit and not a full license.

Police say the teen lost control of the 2007 Nissan Altima and hit a tree on Tuesday.

They say only one passenger survived, a 16-year-old boy who was sitting in the backseat and he's in critical condition.

Investigators say it's unclear why the driver lost control of the car.
