NORWALK - Several shots were fired in a quiet Norwalk neighborhood Thursday night, police say.

Authorities say the gunfire broke out at around 10 p.m. near 19 Keeler Ave. When police arrived on the scene, they say they found no suspects and no immediate signs of a shooting. However, when officers examined the surroundings closer, they discovered about 10 spent shell casings.

No residents were injured, police say.

"We were just concerned because there were no calls of any fights going on," says Sgt. Lisa Cotto, of the Norwalk Police Department.

Police are interviewing neighbors to determine the circumstances of the shooting.
