BRIDGEPORT - A Bridgeport man who was shot and killed Saturday evening is being remembered as a loving father.

Derrick Hill, 34, was shot in front of his sister at around 6:30 p.m. at Rootsman Kitchen, in what police believe was a planned attack.

Hill's family visited the site of the shooting Sunday, where many people left candles and stuffed animals in tribute.

Another person was also shot and is reportedly in stable condition at Saint Vincent's Medical Center.

Police believe Hill was the intended target.

Investigators say they have a strong lead on a pair of suspects. They are urging anyone with information about the shooting to contact police.
