Police hunt Trumbull carjacking suspect

TRUMBULL - A man suspected of taking two cars, including one in Trumbull, is still on the loose.

State police say the man stole a car in Meriden late Wednesday night.

He was pulled over in Trumbull around midnight Thursday where he then took off on foot.

Then about a mile away, police say he stole a SUV at gunpoint.

Police chased the SUV but the suspect ditched it and ran into the woods.

Officers searched the area throughout the night with help from a team of police dogs but were unable to locate him.
