Police investigate hot tub drowning

NORWALK - Police are investigating the death of a 57-year-old Norwalk woman who drowned in her Jacuzzi early this morning.

The incident occurred on Brookhill Lane in Norwalk, according to police.

The woman's husband told police his wife had gone to use the hot tub at around 1 a.m. and when he awoke hours later, he realized she had not come to bed. Authorities say the husband found her in the Jacuzzi and tried to perform CPR.

The medical examiner will perform an autopsy tomorrow, according to police.
