STAMFORD - Stamford police are asking citizens to look at a surveillance video released Friday that shows a suspect firing his gun at a playground earlier this week.

The shooting took place Tuesday afternoon and sent one man to the hospital.

Police say the victim was targeted.

From the surveillance footage, police were able to determine that the suspect appears to be in his 20s, with a skinny build.

Police say the victim sustained wounds to his arm and upper leg and remains in the hospital. They also say the victim has not cooperated in their investigation.

Investigators are asking for the public's help to make an arrest.

Anyone with information is asked to call police.
