GREENWICH - Greenwich police say they believe the same man is responsible for a pair of bank robberies in two states.

Police released a picture of the man they say held up the People's United Bank on Aug. 28.

Police say the same man robbed a Wells Fargo in Linden, N.J. on Aug. 20.

The Greenwich robbery prompted a major scare as police stopped trains to search for the suspect after a report of a possible gunshot following the robbery.
