FAIRFIELD - Fairfield police are asking for help to identify a man they say stole a water machine worth $5,000 from a gym.

Police say the man used the alias Tyler Rodgers when he signed up for a seven-day pass at Anytime Fitness on Black Rock Turnpike.

They say they believe he stole the water ionization machine sometime yesterday.

Police say he walked away from the gym, so he may be local to the area.
