GREENWICH - Greenwich police are warning people to be on the lookout for burglars who have hit several area homes in recent months.

Police say the thieves usually break in to more than one home on a night they strike.

Stamford says it's also seen an increase in burglaries in recent months.

Detectives say the poor economy and rising price of gold are making jewelry thefts more enticing.
