BRIDGEPORT - A man has died after police say rocks and a brick were thrown at his car as he drove down a Bridgeport street.

Investigators say 41-year-old Edy Morales was driving down Jane Street with several male passengers in his car around 8:30 p.m. Saturday when the items were thrown.

Police say the objects smashed through the car's windshield and passenger-side window, fatally injuring Morales.

Morales was driven to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

A relative said the victim was a hardworking dad who had come to the U.S. from Guatemala.

Police say the murder was captured on surveillance video and they're in the process of studying those images.

The incident marks Bridgeport's fourth homicide of the year.
