Police: Man found dead in Fairfield creek near Riverside Drive

Police say the body of a man was discovered this morning in a creek in Fairfield. Investigators say the body was found at around 8:30

FAIRFIELD - Police say the body of a man was discovered this morning in a creek in Fairfield.

Investigators say the body was found at around 8:30 a.m. in about 2.5 feet of water in a creek near Riverside Drive and Post Road.

Police say there's no indication of foul play, but they're trying to determine if the man died from an accident or a medical condition. The state medical examiner will conduct an autopsy.

Police have not yet released the victim's name, but the say he was an older man.
