Police: Man found dead in Norwalk River

NORWALK - Police are investigating after a body was found in the Norwalk River earlier today.

The police department's marine unit retrieved the man's body shortly before 11 a.m. near the Selleck Street docks. Authorities are not releasing the man's name, but say he was about 30 years old. 

Police say they cannot yet confirm how the man died, but they do not suspect foul play. 

The body is being sent to the medical examiner's office for an autopsy.
