Police: Man found lying on highway in Bridgeport

Police say the man was found on the southbound side of the highway, near exit 2 at the start of rush hour Monday morning.

BRIDGEPORT - State police are investigating after a man was found lying in the road on the Route 8-25 Connector in Bridgeport.

It happened by exit 3 in the southbound lanes of the highway around 5 a.m.

The incident caused delays up to exit 5.

Police say the man was taken to the hospital, but didn't say what happened to him.
