STRATFORD - This morning, a southwestern Connecticut man is free on a $200,000 bond following a large drug bust coordinated by three local police departments.
Investigators in Stratford say their narcotics and vice unit was investigating 32-year-old Marcelino Molina for several months with the help of Bridgeport and Stamford police.
Authorities claim he is a wholesale dealer of marijuana who receives shipments from California through the U.S. Postal Service.
Earlier this week, they say Molina was arrested outside his Stamford home moments before he was about to make a large drug transaction.
Investigators say they recovered more than half a pound of marijuana and three quarters of a pound of concentrated THC.
Police say they also found evidence that Molina was using a home in Bridgeport as a marijuana grow house and stashed drugs there.
