BRIDGEPORT - Police have identified the man who was shot five times new Wordin Avenue and Hanover Street over the weekend as 21-year-old Carlos Ruiz.

Police say the alleged shooter is still missing, but they are continuing to investigate despite the lack of evidence at the crime scene.

Authorities say that Ruiz was shot at around 12:45 a.m. on Saturday. Some neighbors say they heard the gunshots and are now scared to walk down the street.

Police say the alleged gunman escaped in a four-door gray vehicle.
