STAMFORD - A Bronx man who tried using a fake identity to withdraw money from a Stamford bank has been arrested, police say.

Police say that Touissant Vogelsang, who has an extensive criminal record, tried to withdraw $4,000 from Key Bank on Bedford Street Monday. Police say employees became suspicious and notified authorities.

Vogelsang was arrested for allegedly having a forged New York driver's license and credit card.
