NORWALK - Police are seeking the public's assistance in finding the man they say stabbed another man at a Bridgeport gas station.

It happened at the Gulf station on Park Avenue at around 1 a.m. Wednesday, and it was caught on surveillance video. Police say the suspect got into an argument with the victim after allegedly trying to steal his bike.

The video shows the suspect hanging out in front of the gas station, socializing with people as they come in and out of the store. Moments later, the video shows the victim ride up to the station on his bicycle. The suspect then approaches the victim and tries to steal his bicycle. When the victim didn't give the bike over to the suspect willingly, police say they began fighting and the victim was stabbed.

Police say the 50-year-old victim is expected to be OK.

Bridgeport police are urging anyone who recognizes the man in the video to call them with any information.
