Police: Michael McFarlane, of Stamford, wanted in shooting and robbery

STAMFORD -   Police say they have obtained an arrest warrant for a Stamford man who is wanted in connection with a shooting and attempted robbery last month.

Police say 20-year-old Michael McFarlane shot the victim twice when the victim fought back. They say the incident happened on Richmond Hill Avenue June 25.

Police say a stray bullet also hit a passing vehicle that had a small child inside.

Stamford police say McFarlane is also wanted for pistol-whipping a woman, and is considered a person of interest in the attempted shooting of a police officer on June 29.
