NORWALK - Norwalk police say a New York man was arrested for using several fake credit cards in the city.
Police received a call from a local business about the man when he allegedly used the cards Wednesday afternoon. They were told the suspect bought something earlier in the day at the P.C. Richard & Son on Connecticut Avenue and later returned with a different fake ID and credit card to purchase more items.
Osimba Rabsatt, of Queens, was arrested a short time later. Police say that when they arrived at the store, the 34-year-old was leaving and ran when he spotted officers.
Police say they saw Rabsatt had taken a bag full of Xbox video game consoles, worth about $1,000, from the store and dropped a number of credits cards in the road before catching him across the street.
Rabsatt is due in court next month.
