BRIDGEPORT - Police say they found the owners of a stray pot belly pig that was found roaming the streets of Bridgeport earlier this week.

The pig, named Lolita, made a run for it when her owners let their dog out. They say they found out where she was from posts on Facebook by the city's animal control officers.

A homeowner on Forest View Road later found Lolita digging up his lawn, looking for food.

City officials say it's illegal to keep pigs as pets in the city.

Officials say Lolita is on her way to a farm where she will be allowed to live out the rest of her life.
