BRIDGEPORT - Hundreds of Bridgeport students were rushed out of their classrooms today following threats made at two different schools.

Police say a bomb threat was found scrawled on a wall at the Dunbar School and that similar threat was discovered inside a bathroom at Bassick High School. The Dunbar students, in kindergarten to eighth grade, were sent to Tisdale and Cesar Battalla Elementary schools to finish out the afternoon. Those at Bassick were sent home for the day.

Authorities say a call went out to all parents to notify them, but many say they never received a call.

School officials say they are cooperating with police.

The scenes have since been cleared as the investigations continue.
