Police probe Bridgeport man's possible link to robberies

STAMFORD - Stamford police say they are investigating today whether or not a Bridgeport man is linked to a series of robberies in the city.

Police say 30-year-old Paulino Butler was arrested Friday for carrying a fake gun possibly into a Bev Max before hiding out at a multi-family home next door. Butler faces a series of charges in connection with the incident.

Now, police say Butler may have a connection to several recent armed robberies in Stamford. Anyone with information about the robberies is asked to call Stamford police at 203-977-4444.
