Police probe double shooting in Bridgeport

BRIDGEPORT - Bridgeport police are investigating a double shooting that left one man dead and another one hurt.

Detectives say the shootings happened at about 2 a.m. near Boston and Bishop avenues. Witnesses tell police the victims were involved in a fight at a strip club, Bishops Corner.

Police say the driver, 37-year-old Shawn Parks, of The Bronx, was fatally shot in the head. Sherman Perry, 38, of Milford, was also inside the car and was shot in the leg.

No arrests have been made.
