Police probe reports of social media threats made to teen shooting victim Kristjan Ndoj

Police say they have received tips that Ndoj may have been threatened on social media hours before he was shot. (3/19/14)

SHELTON - Shelton police are looking into reports that the 15-year-old critically wounded in a shooting over the weekend may have received death threats.

Kristjan Ndoj was shot in the head and leg on Saturday night. He remains in critical condition at Bridgeport Hospital.

Police say they have received tips that Ndoj may have been threatened on social media hours before he was shot, but they have been unable to confirm the threats.

Shelton High School students say they are sad and uneasy knowing that the shooter is still on the loose.

According to police, there have been no specific threats that anyone is in danger at the high school or throughout the Shelton community. 

Shelton High School's principal says the school is continuing counseling for its students and staff.
