Stamford police are investigating after a swastika and a racial slur were found spray painted on the back of a stop sign today.According to officials,

STAMFORD - Stamford police are investigating after a swastika and a racial slur were found spray painted on the back of a stop sign today.

According to officials, the images were found on the corner of Fairview and Van Rensselaer avenues in Stamford. They say the location is a half mile away from the home of Gov.-elect Dan Malloy (D-Conn.).

Police say the investigation is in its early stages and there is no indication that the governor-elect was targeted.
