BRIDGEPORT - A man police say used fake papers to convince a bondsman to bail him out has been recaptured.

Police arrested Eric Stiggle, 39, after he skipped court yesterday.

Stiggle is charged with allegedly attempting to kill his ex-wife in Bridgeport early this year.

Police say Stiggle used fake papers to convince a bondsman to post his $1.3 million bail.

He's now being held on $2 million bail.
