NORWALK - Norwalk police are asking the public to help identify the man suspected of shooting and robbing a woman in a Stop & Shop parking lot last year.

Authorities say the 50-year-old victim was shot in the stomach back in October just outside the Connecticut Avenue supermarket. Today, police released new surveillance footage from the South Norwalk train station that they hope will lead to the suspect's arrest.

Detectives had previously released surveillance video, but say the new evidence is more helpful because it was enhanced by the state forensic lab.

Police Chief Tom Kulhawik says the department has a number of leads, but could certainly use some assistance. Furthermore, police say the suspect likely lives between Hartford and New York City.
