STRATFORD - Stratford police are investigating a second armed robbery at a liquor store this week.

Police say a man with a gun held up S&S Wine and Liquor on Boston Avenue Thursday night. They say the suspect got away with $2,500 in cash.

After comparing the surveillance video, investigators say the person who held up this liquor store is likely the same suspect in the robbery of Barnum Discount Liquor Store Tuesday night.

No one was hurt in either robbery.

Police are stepping up their patrols in the area and taking several other precautions.
