BRIDGEPORT -
Bridgeport police say they have found no evidence proving that a reported attempted abduction really happened.

School officials had said they got a report that a girl who was walking to Barnum School yesterday was approached by a man who tried to touch her.

Police say they reviewed surveillance video from the area and found the claim to be unfounded.
