FAIRFIELD - Police are asking for the public's help in finding the armed suspect who robbed a Fairfield bank Sunday afternoon.

Police say the suspect entered the back door at TD Bank on Post Road one minute before closing time. Surveillance video captured the suspect threatening the bank's manager with a gun and ordering her to put money in his bag. The manager gave him an undetermined amount of cash before he fled on foot.

The suspect is described as a black male in his late teens or 20s and stands about 5 feet 10 inches tall. He was last seen wearing a dark ski mask, a green hoodie, long dark pajama-like pants with the Polo logo on them and purple or grey sneakers with a white stripe.
