As Bridgeport police continue the investigation into the city's seventh homicide of the year, family members have set up a memorial for Kiaunte Ware. Police

BRIDGEPORT - Family members have set up a memorial for Kiaunte Ware, the city's seventh homicide victim of the year.

Police say the 32-year old was shot several times while sitting in a car on Sixth Street Wednesday morning.

The memorial was set up near the crime scene Wednesday evening. Friends and family say the violence needs to stop.

Police are still trying to track down witnesses. No arrests have been made.
