Police search for man accused of abducting his kids

BRIDGEPORT - ? Police are searching for a man they say abducted his two children in Hartford and threatened to kill them in a domestic dispute.

Vinroy Hines, 30, reportedly assaulted the mother of the girls and forced her into a car with the children, ages 20 months and 4 months. He reportedly planned to kill them all before committing suicide. The mother got away, but not before Hines allegedly took the girls.

Reports say the children have been turned over to state police in Bridgeport.

Hines is considered armed and dangerous and may be in the Bridgeport area. A $1,000 reward is being offered by Hartford Crime Stoppers for information leading to Hines' arrest.
