FAIRFIELD - Police are investigating a fatal crash that took place on the lawn of a Fairfield home Tuesday night.

Fairfield police say they received a call from the Bridgeport Police Department to assist in the search for a 2004 Infinity driven by two males.

At around 9:30 p.m., police found the mangled vehicle on the lawn of a home on Laurel Avenue with one man inside. Police say the man was critically injured and was taken off life support early Wednesday morning.

Police are now searching for the other man and answers.
