Police searching for driver in fatal crash

Norwalk police are searching for the driver who hit and killed a woman in Rowayton.They say Alice Goldfarb, 51, was hit around 5 a.m. yesterday

NORWALK - Norwalk police are searching for the driver who hit and killed a woman in Rowayton.

They say Alice Goldfarb, 51, was hit around 5 a.m. yesterday at the corner of Steeple Top Road and Hunt Street.

A driver passing by spotted Goldfarb in the road and called 911.

She was rushed to the hospital, but died a short time later.

Neighbors say Goldfarb liked to practice yoga in the street.
