FAIRFIELD - Fairfield police say a group of men robbed students of their cellphones in two incidents over the past two weeks.

In both cases, police say the students were walking home from school near Knapps Highway at the time of the robberies.

Police say one of the suspects showed a fake gun to intimidate the victims.

Investigators believe the same suspects are behind both crimes.

Anyone with information is asked to call Fairfield police.
