Police seek 2 suspects in armed robbery

TRUMBULL - Police are searching for a gunman and his accomplice who robbed five teens at gunpoint Friday morning in Trumbull.

According to police, the teens were camped out at Westfield Mall, waiting for some Black Friday bargains, when they were robbed. They say a beat up car without license plates pulled up with two men inside. One of the men got out and robbed the group at gunpoint. The suspects made off with several cell phones and $60 in cash. Police say the incident was isolated.

Authorities say buyers should be aware of their surroundings inside malls, stores and parking lots because criminals target people during the holiday season.
