Police seek suspect in fatal Norwalk shooting

NORWALK - Police are on the hunt for the shooter who killed a young man in Norwalk Friday evening.

Investigators say Michael Robinson, 22, was shot near the corner of South Main and Grove streets. He was taken to Norwalk Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Witnesses said they heard multiple shots before observing two men fleeing the scene.

Relatives of Robinson say he was the first cousin of Amos Brown Junior, who was killed in August in what is believed to be gang-related retaliation for another homicide. Investigators have not said whether Robinson's slaying could be related.
