STAMFORD - Stamford police are looking for a group of people who hit a man with a baseball bat and then robbed him.

The victim told police that he was walking home along Lee Street on Sunday night when one of the men in the group struck him with the bat.

He says the other four suspects went through his pockets.

Police say the thieves got away with about $300. Anyone with information is urged to contact Stamford police.
