BRIDGEPORT - A Bridgeport man faces charges after police say he fired a least a dozen gunshots at them Wednesday night.

Hiram McReynolds, 27, of Chopsey Hill Road, is accused of shooting at officers responding to a domestic disturbance at his home.

Police say McReynolds, who is on active duty in the military, was dressed in full camouflage during the incident.

His wife says she suspects drugs may have played a role in setting her husband off.

Police say McReynolds was involved in a similar incident in 2002.
