NORWALK - Norwalk police say they've arrested a man accused of robbing a gas station last week.
Authorities say Tyrone Tyson robbed the Global station at the corner of Cross and Main streets early Saturday morning. Tyson allegedly approached a clerk with a box cutter, entered into a struggle and was injured in the altercation. A trail of blood helped officers find the suspect.
Tyson has been charged with robbery and assault. Additional charges may be forthcoming as police investigate whether he recently robbed a Subway.
