BRIDGEPORT - State police say a large amount of heroin is off the streets of Bridgeport thanks to the work of the Statewide Narcotics Task Force.
Investigators say police from several departments found more than 260 bags of heroin, bullets and assorted drug paraphernalia while searching the home of Frederick Kollock yesterday.
Troopers say Kollock was at the center of a lengthy drug investigation in the city.
Officials say he is facing several charges, including running a drug factory.
