STAMFORD - Stamford police are asking the public to help find the suspect responsible for murdering one man and wounding two others in the city's first homicide of the year.

Authorities received reports of shots fired Friday at around 10:30 p.m. on Richmond Hill Avenue. Upon arrival, they found two men who had been wounded, and have since confirmed that one of them, 25-year-old Jeffrey McNeil, has died. The other victim, an unidentified 44-year-old, is recovering in the hospital.

Detectives say a newly discovered third victim, who originally ran from the scene, is apparently not cooperating with the investigation.

Police say they have no suspects or motive at this time.
