MILFORD - Officials say police shot a man with a stun gun on a Metro-North train Wednesday after he claimed he brought a gun onboard at the Milford station.

They say the 25-year-old New Haven man told a conductor he had a gun when he was asked for his ticket.

The man refused to put his hands up when police ordered him to and he was shot with a stun gun.

He's been charged with breach of peace.
