Police warn residents about string of car thefts, break-ins

ORANGE - Orange and Woodbridge police are reminding residents to keep their cars locked after a recent string of thefts and break-ins.

Police in Orange say someone broke into four unlocked vehicles near Indian Hill Road overnight on June 6, but did not take anything. They say that same night, a car and motorcycle were taken from a driveway and garage in the area. The car was found in New Haven three days later.

Woodbridge police say several cars were also broken into on Johnson Road overnight on June 9. They say a car was also stolen from the driveway of a home in the area that night.
