BRIDGEPORT - A Bridgeport man is facing a number of charges after police say he was selling high-powered weapons in Bridgeport.
State police say they witnessed 29-year-old William Hooks selling an assault rifle. They say they then found two more weapons, drugs and cash inside a house on Hanover Street.
Officials say they traced one of the guns to South Carolina, where it was reported stolen in 2012.
Hooks was arraigned Tuesday at Bridgeport Superior Court.
He is due back in court next month.
