BRIDGEPORT - Transit police are reportedly investigating the death of a woman who plunged 20 feet from the Bridgeport train station.

MTA officials says Hyang-Ja-Bak-Lee was walking backward on the New York-bound platform at the station on Water Street when she fell down an embankment yesterday.

According to police, the victim, a 54-year-old woman from the Bronx, was pronounced dead at Saint Vincent's Medical Center.

MTA police reportedly say she did not land on the tracks, and they believe she lost her footing.
