BRIDGEPORT - Police say a woman rammed into her boyfriend with her car in Bridgeport this morning, pinning him against a cinder block wall and killing him instantly.

It happened on Ash Street, and investigators are treating the case as a possible homicide.

Police have not released the identities of the people involved, but relatives of the victim have identified him as 24-year-old Jeffrey Brown.

Family members tell News 12 Connecticut that Brown had a child with the woman who drove the red car, and they also allege that this isn't the first time she tried to run him down.

Relatives say that the woman has been hospitalized with a leg injury and is being questioned by police, although officials have declined to comment.
